 The Village of Culturewooden movable-type printing of China is located in Dongyuan Village, Pingyangkeng Township of Ruian city. The wooden movable type printing of Dongyuan is the only such technique preserved and in actual use today in China, which has a history of more than 800 years. Called "the Living Fossil of World Printing", the wooden movable type printing of the village inherits the traditional technique of ancient China and repoduces the working scene of movable type printing, one of the four great inventions of ancient people. It illustates the fact that the movable type printing has its origin in China.
